Le Bel Ordinaire is a contemporary art space based in the South of France (Pau-Pyrénées). The question of the editorial object is one of its main interests: Communications not only convey information, but also a graphic-design vision.

Since September 2012, the space publishes a magazine, which is called le BO Numéro and is one of its mediation tools. For three weeks, I carried out experiments during the “paper residency” and developed an offset “mise en abîme” through which 2,500 different posters were printed out from the offset plates of the magazine itself. Each 100 ones, the parameters of the machine changed to bring uniqueness into the core of the model, thus questioning the whole printing process and creating prints outside the classical constraints of graphic design.
